Saturday night there was heavy police activity on West Plumb Lane after an officer involved shooting.
The Reno Police Department responded to Plumb around 8:30 p.m. The Washoe County Sheriff's office arrived shortly after, and they are now the leading investigating agency.
West Plumb Lane was closed for several hours, as well as Hunter Lake Drive to Sharon Way.
While the events leading up to the shooting are unknown at this time, REMSA has confirmed that one person was transported from the scene. Their condition and injures are unknown at this time.
Authorities say there is no threat to the public.
