Sunday, November 21st, 2021 is the 6th annual Pie It Forward Bake Sale.
People can buy freshly baked pumpkin pies for $5 dollars. The proceeds from this fundraiser go directly to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
The event is being held in the Hotel Lobby of the Peppermill Reno.
They are selling pies from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., while supplies last.
Last year, the Peppermill sold 1,600 pies and donated a total of $8,815 from sales and additional donations.
Food Bank of Northern Nevada is a non-profit organization that provides emergency food services throughout northern Nevada and parts of northeastern California. The organization serves more than 106,000 people every month, half of whom are children and seniors, and annually provides more than 20.9 million meals to hungry neighbors in need.
