All City of Reno administrative offices, recreation facilities and pools will be closed on Monday, February 19.
In Sparks, the Sparks City Hall, Sparks Parks and Recreation, Alf Sorensen Community Center, Larry D. Johnson Community Center, and Sparks Municipal Court will be closed.
The administrative offices at the Washoe County Complex at 1001 East 9th Street will be closed. The Office of the County Clerk will be open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. for fictitious firm names, notary bond filings, and marriage licenses.Â
All libraries in Washoe County will be closed, but book drops and online services will remain available.
Washoe County Regional Animal Services Shelter Operations and the shelter will be closed. However, field operations will continue, and pet redemptions will be available from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.Â
The Justice Courts in Reno, Sparks, Incline Village and Wadsworth will all be closed, as well as the Second Judicial District Court.Â
The Washoe County District Attorney's Office will be closed.
The Washoe County Sheriff's Office will be closed, but visiting and cashier services will remain open.
Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue Headquarters and the administrative offices at 3663 Barron Way will be closed.Â
The Washoe County Health District Clinical Services will be closed.
Washoe County Human Services Agency and meal distribution locations will be closed.
The City of South Lake Tahoe administrative offices will be closed, including the City Manager's Office, City Attorney's Office, Human Resources, and the Finance Front Counter.
Also in South Lake Tahoe, the Development Services and Public Works offices, along with the front counter of the police department will be closed.
South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue, South Lake Tahoe Police Department, and dispatch will continue to operate. The airport runway and Recreation and Swim Complex will also be open.
All Storey County and Douglas County government offices will be closed.
School will not be in session in the Washoe County, Lyon County, Douglas County, Churchill County, and Carson City School Districts.
The University of Nevada, Reno will have no classes on Monday, and the campus will be closed.
All TMCC locations will also be closed and have no classes.
The intersection of Oddie Boulevard and Silverada Boulevard will also be closed on Presidents Day for traffic signal improvement. There will be detours available on Orovada Street or East 9th Street and G Street.
