A 72-year-old Reno man is dead after a head-on crash on Mt. Rose Highway last week. 

The crash was first reported just after 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16th at Washoe County Mile Marker 13 in Reno.

NHP say a white Ford Explorer was traveling west when it drove left of the center median and crashed into a white Jeep Cherokee going east.

The driver of the Cherokee, Arthur Wagner died on scene. The other driver was transported to a hospital with minor injuries. 

This crash is being investigated by the Highway Patrol Division’s Northern Command West Multi-Disciplinary Investigation and Reconstruction Team (M.I.R.T.) - Case #211101157.
