The Washoe County District Attorney says a Reno man has been sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty.
29-year-old Samuel Okello pleaded guilty to battery with intent to commit sexual assault in November.
Prosecutors say back in September of 2020 he assaulted a 21-year-old woman while she was asleep after meeting her and her friends earlier in the evening and going with them back to their home.
He'll be eligible for parole after 10 years.
