Peavine Taphouse Eats and Beats in Reno is hosting a music festival and silent auction Sunday, all for a good cause.

"Starla's Show for the Cure" started at 11:30 a.m. and will go until 6 p.m. at Peavine Taphouse Eats and Beats on Town Square Lane in Reno.

It will feature music from local bands including Karrie O'Neill, Nick Eng Band, Tripp Whitney & Jerry Spikula, Sierra Roc, Arthur Kerr, Gruve Nation, Kris Munn, and the debut of US 395 featuring John Tolbert.

In addition to the music, there are vendors, food and drinks, kids activities and more. 

Peavine Taphouse owner Anita Noble and her dedicated team will be preparing varied menu choices for lunch and dinner as well.

The event is raising money to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
