The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine is warning students of a safety concern on campus.
On Friday, July 12, the University sent a message saying that an independent medical professional found that a former University medical student, Matthew Pierce Mahaffey, is currently at risk of harming others.
He is prohibited from attending any University events.
If you see him on campus, call 911 immediately.
There will be an increased police presence around UNR Med locations. UNR Med students and employees will receive further instructions from their supervisors about workplace arrangements.
