A warehouse collapsed under the heavy snow in South Lake Tahoe early Wednesday morning.

The City of South Lake Tahoe says one wall was left standing after the collapse, on Melba Drive.

Crews had to use snow shoes to get there.

Authorities say the warehouse was upright just yesterday.

No injuries were reported.

City leaders are asking neighbors to consider the snow loads on their own roofs.

They add, "Hire experts to remove snow if you are seeing greater than 3’ on your roof."
