The Washoe County School District is gearing up to make some changes to some local middle schools - and they want families to voice their opinions.
The district is considering a plan to change Pine Middle School and/or Traner Middle School to be Preschool through 8th grade.
The first meeting is for families with students who attend Pine Middle School and Dodson, Donner Springs, Hidden Valley, Huffaker and Smithridge elementary schools.
This meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Smithridge Elementary School at 4801 Neil Road in Reno.
The second meeting is for families with students who attend Traner Middle School and Cannan, Duncan, Lemelson and Mathews elementary schools.
This meeting will take place on Thursday, May 23 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Traner Middle School at 1700 Carville Drive in Reno.
