Nevada Highway Patrol Troopers have identified a woman killed in a rollover accident on State Route 264 west of Tonopah in Esmeralda County on Saturday morning.Â
Troopers say the crash investigation details indicate a tan 2002 Dodge Neon driven by 71-year-old Juanita Marlene Schieberl of Dyer was traveling west on State Route 264 north of Dyer around 9:30 a.m. when for unknown reasons she drifted off the north paved shoulder. They say Schieberl over corrected, drove across the center line and onto the south dirt shoulder. They say she then again over corrected to the right and the Neon overturned.Â
They say Schieberl was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the incident and was ejected from the vehicle.Â
Schieberl died at the scene. Â
The vehicle came to rest on its wheels on the south dirt shoulder. Troopers say alcohol or drugs are not suspected as a factor in the cause of the incident.Â
State Route 264 was intermittently shut down for several hours while the crash scene was investigated and diagramed. This area of SR 445 is one lane in each direction and the speed limit is 70 mph.Â
