UPDATE: NHP says the road on I-580 southbound near Mt. Rose Junction is now clear.
The Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) reports a crash caused delays going southbound on I-580Â near the Mt. Rose Junction on Friday afternoon.
They said a tractor towing an empty gas tanker hit two disabled vehicles on the outside shoulder.
The occupants were on the other side of the jersey wall.
No one was injured in the incident.
Two right-hand lanes are blocked at this time and are causing delays. Drivers should use caution when traveling in the area.
