Nevada Highway Patrol has identified a suspect in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed a bicyclist near Battle Mountain in Lander County.

NHP says they are looking for a blue Dodge truck, Nevada plate 909YCK or 815XLJ with right front damage, and missing right side mirror. The suspect is Rocky Lee Jarrett, age 31. He is from the Battle Mountain area.  

The crash was first reported on August 22nd, just after 8:30 p.m. on a frontage road four miles east of Battle Mountain. 

NHP says 49-year-old Kevin Scott Walgren of Battle Mountain was found dead on the highway next to his bicycle on the eastbound side of the frontage road.
