The Reno Police Department responded to a large disturbance in the area of Mt. Rainier and Mt. Whitney Streets on Tuesday night.
They said initial reports indicated the disturbance was a result of destruction of property.
Reno Police said although area roads were closed for emergency personnel, large crowds, of about 30 to 40 people, were hindering police operations.
Officials say 29-year old Daniel Pulalasi and 27-year-old Sooaso Pulalasi were arrested for possession of a firearm as well as destruction of property.
Police report that 26-year-old Jimmy Pouli was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and discharging a weapon from a vehicle.
Officials do not believe the incident is gang related.
An investigation is underway.
