UPDATE: The Reno Police Department says a shooter accused of killing two people at Mixers Bar in April will not be arrested, as it is believed he acted in self defense.

Detectives have been conducting interviews and watching surveillance video of the surrounding area, officials said.

Original Story: Reno Police Department says two people are dead after a shooting at Mixers Bar Wednesday night. 

RPD responded to Mixer Bar on Clear Acre Lane after a report of a shooting around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

Officers found two people who had been shot in the parking lot. Officials identified the men who died following the shooting as 25-year-old Dustin Hall of Sun Valley and 41-year-old Jay Canchola of Sparks. The cause and manner of death are still pending investigation. 

Officials say the shooter was found on scene but not arrested. We have reached out to officials to find out more. 

This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call RPD at 775-334-2115.
