Nevada Highway Patrol says a portion of I-80 east is closed near Winnemucca for a semi-truck rollover crash.

Officials say one of the trailers is leaking sodium hydroxide, which is a hazmat corrosive material.

NHP crews say at least two pallets of five gallon buckets were leaking.

However, officials aren't sure exactly how many gallons of the hazmat material have spilled.

As a result, I-80 eastbound will be closed until hazmat crews can secure the scene.

Officials aren't sure how long the roads will be closed.
