The motion is to move forward with the Daybreak development. The motion was passed 4 - 3 with Schieve, Brekhus, and Duerr voted against it.
The Reno City Council will hear from the developers of a proposed master-planned community in southeast Reno, next week.Â
The plan calls for 4,700 homes, which is about 4.8 houses per acre. The goal is to break ground at the end of 2018.
