The Reno City Council voted 5-1 to amend a special use permit for the Logisticenter in Lemmon Valley.Â
The modification will allow for 24-hour operations on the nearly 131-acre site near Military Road and Lemmon Drive.Â
Builders had wanted to open the industrial park up for 24 hours but it required a special use permit since it’s located near a residentially zoned property.Â
Jenny Brekhus was the lone no vote.
The Council noted concerns about noise mitigation and asked to strengthen those requirements, which included wall improvements along the east side of Lemmon Drive to absorb ambient noise.Â
