Reno Police Seek Bank Robbery Suspect From North Reno

Police officers need your help finding a man they say robbed the First Independent Bank in north Reno early Monday afternoon. 

Police say at about 12:15 p.m., the suspect went into the bank, located at Sharlands and Robb Drive, and claimed to have a gun, though none was seen. 

Police say the teller gave the man an undiscovered amount of money and the suspect then ran out of the bank.

The suspect is described as 50-60 years old, about 5’6” tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a green Cabelas hat, an olive green zip-up hooded jacket and blue jeans. 

Reno Police Departments Robbery Homicide Detectives are currently working with Northern Nevada Branch of the FBI on this case.
