The Mono County Sheriff's Office says renowned snowboarder Jaeger Alan Bailey died on Christmas Day of an apparent suicide.
Deputies say Bailey's family was notified of his death.
The 26-year-old lived in Mammoth Lakes
He had competed in the X-Games and was featured in several snowboarding films.
