Drivers react to icy morning commute after overnight snow, maintenance team describe road clearing priorities. 

Some area roads will be closed from 7:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19.

Another wave of moisture moves in on Saturday that will bring us valley rain and heavy Sierra Snow.

Our valleys will see snow showers Thursday evening with 1 to 3" possible and a slick evening commute. The storm moves out of here on Friday with a break in the weather on Saturday.

Travel is not advised in the Sierra Wednesday night through early Friday morning as a strong storm moves through the region.

Scattered snow showers will stick around through the Wednesday evening commute.
