A couple years ago, a Washoe County Sheriff's Office program was implemented. It is designed to prevent thieves from stealing catalytic converters off of cars and has been quite successful.

The program is taught by driving professionals through a unique combination of behind the wheel and classroom experiences.

Building off the success of our largest-ever student internship experience, the Nevada National Security Site is expanding the program for summer 2023.

Volunteer Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be onsite checking car seat use and correct installation.

Each public library in Nevada has been provided with two passes that can be checked out by library patrons.

The membership based program would allow people with disabilities to utilize the City's adaptive bikes and go directly on the trail at the Rosewood Nature Study Area... getting rid of the need for bike transport. 

Eight Nevada-based organizations are kicking off 2023 with more than $177,000 in combined grant donations to expand their services.
