The Los Angeles Dodgers are hosting the Atlanta Braves in what is forecast to be the hottest postseason game at Dodger Stadium since 2017. Game 1 of the National League Division Series began Saturday afternoon. The game-time temperature was 100 degrees and forecast to reach 101, about 20 degrees warmer than the city's average for early October. Braves manager Walt Weiss says the weather isn't a big factor for his team since they're used to heat and humidity in the Deep South. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts plans to keep an eye on his pitchers and catcher, who wears a mask and padding behind the plate.
