Shohei Ohtani tossed four-hit ball over seven shutout innings, leading the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 4-0 win over the San Francisco Giants. The Dodgers snapped a four-game skid with Ohtani on the mound and not in the lineup as the designated hitter. Ohtani struck out eight and walked two, lowering his ERA to 0.82. Santiago Espinal and Mookie Betts hit back-to-back homers in the third inning, giving the Dodgers a 2-0 lead. They added two more runs in the fourth. The Giants' three-game winning streak ended. San Francisco starter Robbie Ray gave up four runs and seven hits in 4 2/3 innings.
