St. Ives Florist on South Wells Avenue announced the store will be closing soon.
In a Facebook announcement, after 27 years it will officially close on December 5.
The statement said it will be selling everything in the store at 50 percent until inventory is gone.
In place of the annual Holiday Open House, the post said it will be having a large clearance sale on Saturday, November 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Champagne will be served at that event.
