Tamara Wallace Selected New Mayor for South Lake Tahoe

The City Council of South Lake Tahoe says they have selected Tamara Wallace as their new mayor. 

Wallace previously served as the mayor pro tem, and was elected to City Council in 2018. 

Devin Middlebrook was selected as South Lake Tahoe's next mayor pro tem. It is his first term on the council. 

Middlebrook will serve as mayor when Wallace is unavailable. 

The South Lake Tahoe City Council made the decision to select the roles of mayor and mayor pro tem yearly, and rotate who serves in those roles every year. 

Mayor Wallace has lived in Tahoe for more than 20 years with her husband and family. Mayor Pro Tem Middlebrook was born and raised in Tahoe.
