The Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District (TMFPD) reports that they are responding to a brushfire on I-80 westbound in between Lockwood and Vista.
They said it has a slow rate of growth and half an acre has been burned so far.
One lane westbound is closed for half a mile at Lockwood.
There's no ETA of when the road will be reopened.
