One person had to be rescued after their car went off a roadway and they ended up 100 yards away, at Monitor Pass.
East Fork Fire Protection District responded to assist Eastern Alpine County on Monday morning.
Authorities found the one unidentified person 100 yards from the road, with the car another 100 yards beyond that.
In a Facebook post, East Fork Fire does say the person was injured but did not specify what kind of injuries.
"The incident was a complete success in part to the extensive training we have done this year."
