UPDATE:Â Isabel's Bakery in Sparks is helping Kelsilyn make even more bread for the community.
She is able to create more mini loaves now in a shorter amount of time.
More to come on this story on 2 News.
At 10 years old Kelsilyn is already making an impact in our community.
Rod Poole and his daughter Kelsilyn were spending their free time making bread, and after seeing how fun and easy it was, Kelsilyn had an idea. "We were making big loaves of bread and I decided why don't we hand them out to the less fortunate."
Twice a week Kelsilyn and her dad spend hours making the bread and getting it wrapped and ready to be handed out. With school and over 15 hours of gymnastics a week Kelsilyn has been able to make over 300 loaves of bread in three months to give out to our community.
Kelsilyn has created 'Kelsilyn Loaves of Love' Facebook page so people can see her story and give donations so she is able to continue helping.
As well as bread, she also hands out water and toys for children in the area.Â
Kelsilyn says her favorite part of it all, is seeing how appreciative the people are when she hands out the bread. "It makes me feel happy and I know it makes God happy!"Â
