Nevadans will join together this Friday at noon to thank all those on the front lines fighting to save lives during this COVID-19 outbreak.
“Let’s Give Them A Hand NV” is a virtual thank you celebration being organized to show support for the doctors, nurses, hospital workers, fire, police, REMSA workers, and paramedics who are tirelessly working to protect our community and save lives.
You can also thank the store clerks, the stock person, the truck drivers, and warehouse workers who continue to keep goods flowing throughout our country.
On Friday at noon, Nevadans are encouraged to go outside of their home or office, stand on the streets and sidewalks (remember social distancing) and clap for our community workers.
Take your smart phone to photograph or video tape it and then post it on social media using the hash tag #LetsGiveThemAHandNV”.
To help spread the word about this statewide event, residents are encouraged to post signs on their homes inviting neighbors to join in on Friday at noon. They can also post the hash tag #LetsGiveThemAHandNV” on social media pages and apps like Next Door and invite your friends and neighbors to join in.
Sing a song while you clap, say a prayer, whatever you chose to show your thanks for those who are working so hard to keep us safe.
