The California man accused of murdering his father and fleeing to south of Incline Village where he was arrested, made his court appearance on Tuesday morning from jail.Â
20-year-old Sean Purdy waived his extradition so he will be transported back to Amador County where he will be eventually be tried.Â
There's no immediate word on when he will appear in court next.Â

The Amador County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) says their detectives met with Sean Purdy on Friday at the Washoe County Jail.
They say after four hours of interviewing Sean, detectives were able to obtain a confession from Sean and the location of his father’s body.
ACSO says at around 11:00 p.m., they began searching an area in Amador Pines, Pioneer, based on information from Sean.
They say on Saturday, January 4,around 4:15 a.m., deputies located a freshly dug shallow grave containing a body.
ACSOÂ Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the area and processed the scene.
They say around 11:00 a.m. detectives were able to positively identify the body as 52 year old Lance Purdy of Pine Grove. Notification was made to the family.
ACSO search and rescue team is currently searching another area of Amador County for additional evidence of the homicide.
The ACSO expressed gratitude to the support and assistance of the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office.
County deputies say they arrested the murder suspect wanted out of Amador County south of Incline Village early Thursday afternoon.
Deputies say they found 20-year-old Sean Purdy near Memorial Point around 12:30 p.m. and took him into custody without further incident.Â
Deputies say they had been searching for Purdy for about 12 hours.
Investigators say Purdy's mother reported Wednesday that she was concerned about her husband after he flew home to check on their son in Pine Grove.Â
A neighbor witnessed the son leaving the family home quickly in a Subaru Outback and subsequently discovered a large amount of blood in and around the home.
Washoe County deputies spotted Purdy leaving a 7-Eleven in Incline Village early Thursday morning. When Purdy saw the deputies, he took off on foot.Â
Amador authorities say Purdy was wanted in the connection of 52-year-old Lance Purdy.
Several agencies assisted in the search including Washoe County K9s and RAVEN helicopter, Placer County, Nevada Highway Patrol and the U.S. Marshal's Office.Â
"We kept our presence, we've kept our eyes on the exits and entrances. We've followed up on tips and did all we could to not allow him to slip through our fingers," Washoe County Sheriff's Office PIO Bob Harmon.
While the search was going, residents say they felt safe with law enforcement around.Â
"Totally safe, as you said, there's cops everywhere, and no one in there right mind is going to do something during daylight. So the evening will be different tonight," says Jake Hoffart.
Purdy is being taken to Washoe County Jail. From there its up to Amador County to decide if he will be extradited back to California.

Washoe County Sheriff's deputies at Lake Tahoe are searching for a Northern California homicide suspect after a deputy spotted him at a convenience store at Incline Village and he fled on foot.
Authorities say 20-year-old Sean Purdy is wanted in connection with a homicide Wednesday in Pine Grove, California.Â
Investigators say Purdy's mother reported Wednesday that she was concerned about her husband after he flew home to check on their son in Pine Grove.

On Thursday, Washoe deputies started searching for Purdy near the area of Tahoe Boulevard and Village Boulevard.
Washoe deputies say they received initial word of the homicide late Wednesday night. At around 1 a.m. Thursday morning, Washoe County deputies arrived at a 7-Eleven gas station, where they saw Purdy's car parked out front.
Officials say when Purdy exited the 7-Eleven convenience store, he saw the deputies and ran away.Â
Deputies say the suspect is wanted out of Amador County, but Placer County is helping with the search.Â
Purdy is described as blond, six-feet-tall, 200 pounds and was last seen wearing a black jacket.Â
Washoe deputies say this is not an investigation, but a search for the suspect.
Residents are asked to be alert and report any suspicious activity to 911.Â
