Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo's housing bill passed the Nevada Assembly unanimously on Wednesday.

Assembly Bill 540 passed out of the Assembly Committee on Commerce and Labor on May 16.

The bill saw some changes made before passage out of the assembly, among them lowering the bill's appropriation from $200 million to $150 million and adding a new section requiring the housing division to submit annual reports to the Interim Finance Committee concerning the account.

Another change requires a program for reporting rental payments to a credit reporting agency to be free for landlords and tenants.

The bill now heads to the State Senate for consideration.
