Authorities say two children in an AMBER Alert case have been safe in Sparks.

The suspect and father, 36-year-old Angel Medina is being detained in the case after the trio was found Wednesday morning.

ORIGINAL STORY: 

An AMBER Alert is issued for two young children suspected to be abducted by their father and last seen in Sparks Tuesday night. 

The Storey County Sheriff’s Office is looking for 36-year-old Angel Medina of Stockton, California.

Medina was last seen in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center just before 11 p.m. Tuesday. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Medina is driving a white semi-truck with a Acevedo trucking logo with unknown license plate.

Ariana was last seen wearing gray pajama pants with stars and a gray shirt over a pink short-sleeve shirt with a guitar and star graphics.

Liam has a mohawk haircut and was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt with 3 buttons and a side pocket with blue or gray sweatpants.
