The interim dining hall at the University of Nevada known as "The Den" opens Thursday at 7 a.m.
While the official opening is Thursday morning, the Den is holding a late night breakfast for students which goes from 10 p.m. until midnight Thursday.

Officials with the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) say phase two of the University's interim dining plans are underway.
They said Sprung and Cotton Logistics is creating the 408-seat facility and it will be heated and cooled, with serving spaces and restrooms.
They said there will be modular kitchens and walk-in refrigerators and freezers designed to produce 20,000 meals per week.
Officials with UNR said 'The Den' will look and feel like a modern dining hall with various cook-to-order stations, a breakfast nook, soup and salad bars and more.
They said The Den will be open to the entire University community and will accept the Silver Club Membership Discount.
Officials said in order for The Den to be complete before the winter months, there will be a lot of construction activity, including noise, heavy equipment, cranes and deliveries in the areas between Thompson Hall and the Jot Travis Building.
Students are urged to follow posted signs and directions of flaggers, and not to cross barriers. There will be ADA access to all surrounding buildings.
They said there will be a temporary structure put in place with aluminum arches that are 31 feet tall, connected to an all-weather engineered membrane, creating an eight inch thick insulated vinyl wall. Officials said it requires a concrete foundation and utility services, and is set back from the Thompson Building by 17 feet. They said mechanical systems will be placed on top of the kitchen module, which will be located on the south side of the site.
They said once Argenta Hall and the residential dining facility are reopened, the temporary structure will be disassembled and removed. The site will be restored to pre-construction conditions, including the removal of the concrete foundation, removal of utilities and re-installation of turf and landscaping.
Officials said at this time, the site is planned to remain in place until summer of 2021, pending the reopening of Argenta Hall and the University's main residential dining facility.
