Feet of snow will fall in the Sierra through Wednesday, making travel dangerous. Snow is likely in the valley as well, especially on Tuesday. Snow totals will vary greatly, with 500' making a big difference. The airport and downtown Reno will see half what the foothills will get. Places like the North Valleys could get a foot of snow by the end of Wednesday.Â
