The Washoe County District Attorney's Office says a woman was sentenced to at least five years in prison after she stabbed her boyfriend in June of 2018.
They say Chrystal Mooneyhan pleaded guilty to one count of domestic battery with a deadly weapon causing substantial bodily harm.
The District Attorney says Mooneyhan was sentenced in March to the maximum sentence of 15 years in prison, with parole eligibility beginning after a minimum of 5 years has been served. Â
They say Mooneyhan was charged with stabbing her boyfriend on June 28, 2018 at an apartment in Reno.Â
Reno Police say they arrested a woman on an attempted murder charge early Thursday morning.
Police say they arrested 35-year-old Chrystal Mooneyhan after a stabbing on Silver Lake Road.
The victim was transported to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno for injuries.Â
