More Americans Putting Off Retirement; More Reasons Than Money

Washoe County Treasurer Tammi Davis would like to remind property owners that Monday, Aug. 18, is the due date for the first installment of 2014/15 property taxes.

Payment can be made by mail,

online

, or in person at the Treasurer’s Office. There is a fee associated with payments made online with a credit card. However, there is no fee charged for online e-check payments.

Washoe County tax payments can also be made after normal business hours at the County Clerk’s Office. After hours payments can be made by cash with exact change only, check, money order or cashier’s check. At this time, no credit or debit card payments are accepted in person at either the Treasurer’s Office or County Clerk’s Office.

Hours for payments at the Clerk's Office at 1001 E. Ninth St, Building A:

Monday – Friday: 5 p.m.-midnight

Saturday – Sunday: 8 a.m.-midnight

Holidays: 8 a.m.–midnight
