Washoe County School Board Honors Sandy, John Raffaelli

The Washoe County School Board honored Sandy and John Raffealli Tuesday for their continued support to the local community.

The Raffeallis started the ‘Fit for Perfect Attendance' Program nearly ten years ago at their Bill Pearce Courtesy Honda and Bill Pearce Motors company. The program is open to all Washoe County high school seniors – and at the end of the school year, a brand new Honda Fit is awarded to one local senior with perfect attendance.

John Raffealli passed away last year, but his legacy lives on with this program that encourages students to stay in school.

The ‘Fit for Perfect Attendance' is co-sponsored by Alice 96.5 Radio and KTVN Channel 2.

The Raffeallis took over Bill Pearce Courtesy Honda when Pearce died in 1998.
