The Washoe County School District (WCSD) Board of Trustees unanimously approved a recommendation to return to full in-person learning for all elementary, middle and high schools.
The motion was decided on Tuesday night.
The board went over presentations on operations, nutrition services, transportation and athletic guidance for the 2021-2022 school year.
The plans included continued sanitation measures, strict seating charts for proper contact tracing if needed, issues with exclusions and online schooling that will be available through North Star.Â
The Board is also went over a new S.H.A.R.E. curriculum for sixth graders.
Parents and protesters gathered outside the board meeting with their concerns on Tuesday, even about an item that wasn't on the agenda.
