The Washoe County School District saw its latest member sworn in on Tuesday afternoon.

Dr. Diane Nicolet was sworn in after being appointed by the school board at a meeting last week.

Dr. Nicolet will represent the District G seat which Barbara McLaury left earlier this year due to health reasons.

The term will last until the end of the year
The school board says it will consider who will fill the District C seat vacated by Nick Smith who stepped down last week over allegations involving a minor, at their meeting on April 26th.
