Washoe County Sheriff's Office Helps Boy Celebrate Birthday

When a little boy's birthday party was canceled due to the coronavirus, the Washoe County Sheriff's Office stepped in to help.

Alexzander turned six years old this past Wednesday.

When he grows up he wants to be a police officer, which gave his great grandmother an idea.

"So I literally drove up and down Sun Valley Boulevard until I spotted a group of motorcycle officers taking a break, so I approached them and asked them if it would be possible and they said 'absolutely we will make that happen,’” says Jackie Baker.

As for Alexzander, he loved seeing all the people who came out.

“Say thank you all for coming."

"Thank you all for coming -- my friends.”

We also hope Alexzander had a great birthday!
