A woman whose parents were involved in a murder-suicide last September pleaded guilty Monday to battery.
Raquel Constantino was charged with battery and a variety of other charges after assaulting a friend of her mother’s in August.
The Washoe County District Attorney says Raquel and her father, Mark Constantino, came to the home where her mother and a friend lived - then attacked her mother, Debra Constantino.
Today, Raquel pleaded guilty to simple battery and all other charges were dropped.
She was sentenced to 6 months in prison but that was suspended provided she undergo anger management and alcohol counseling.
This was first reported last September after Mark Constantino kidnapped his wife Debby and took her to an apartment complex in sparks where he fatally shot her and took his own life.
