Actress Katherine Helmond, best known for her work in "Who's the Boss?" and "Soap," has passed away.
Helmond played Mona Robinson on "Who's the Boss?"and Jessica Tate on the soap-opera spoof series "Soap."Â
She won Golden Globe awards in 1981 and 1989 for her roles on both shows.Â
More recently, the seven-time Emmy nominated actress voiced Lizzie in the 'Cars'Â franchise and appeared on "True Blood."
Helmond passed in her home in Los Angeles from complications of Alzheimer's.
She was 89 years old.
