Ashlee's Toy Closet Collecting Toys For Children Affected By Carr Fire

Ashlee's Toy Closet is collecting new toys, clothing and sports equipment for victims of the Carr Fire burning near Redding, California.

The Carr Fire has destroyed over 800 structures and has displaced hundreds of families. 

Ashlee's Toy Closet was founded by Ashlee Smith over 10 years ago and has donated over 3 million toys worldwide. They helped the littlest victims of the Angora Fire near South Lake Tahoe in 2007 and is partnering with Wyatt & Maddee, a company started by Smith's siblings while their father, a firefighter, is battling the Carr Fire.

Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:

•         Custom Aire, Inc. – 52 E. Glendale Ave, Sparks, NV 

•         S &W Tractor – 4880 E. Nye Lane – Carson City, NV 

•         Minden-Tahoe Airport – 1146 Airport Road – Minden, NV 

•         Virginia City School District Office – 124 S. E Street – Virginia City, NV 

•         Camie Cragg Fitness – 3865 Mira Loma Drive – Reno, NV 89502

•         Unique Beauty – 630 Lake Blvd – Redding, CA 96003

They will be accepting monetary donations as well and will also need donated help for transportation to Redding on August 11.
