Reno Credit Union to Host Free Community Shred Day Thursday

On Saturday, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) is partnering with local businesses to hold a "Secure Your ID Day". 

You can get rid of any unneeded and outdated person documents for the free shredding event. Along with those documents, organizers are encouraging community members to bring non-perishable food items or cash donation to benefit the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.

The event will be held at the AT&T parking lot, at the corner of Plumb Lane and Yori Avenue in Reno from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., or until the shred trucks are full.
