The City of Reno says a Cracker Barrel is planned to be built between Keystone Avenue and Vine Street.

Preliminary development plans also show a Chase Bank, Starbucks, two high-density residential buildings and a parking garage.

The S3 Development Project is located at the corner of Keystone and 5th. Architect Wood Rodgers is also helping with the 45,000 square-foot commercial complex.

Even though the City of Reno shows Cracker Barrel in its plans, the restaurant company released this statement to us:

"We're always considering opportunities for new locations, but we have no announcements to make at this time about opening a new store in Reno. We’ll be sure to let the community know if that changes any time in the near future."

The first Cracker Barrel opened in Lebanon, Tennessee in 1969. As of right now, there are 661 restaurants in 45 states, including Nevada (Las Vegas). The closest location is in Rocklin, California.
