The City of Sparks Parks and Recreation Department is in the process of developing two new neighborhood parks.

Both parks are in the early stages of design, and will be located in the Foothills at Wingfield, one on Truth Drive and the other on Black Hills Drive.

The City of Sparks would like the communities help on naming each site.

New names will also be considered for the amphitheater located in Victorian Square.

Park naming forms must be received by the Recreation Office no later than Wednesday, September 19.

The Recreation Office is located at 98 Richards Way.

Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

The public is welcome to provide testimony on all potential names at a meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 25 at 4:00 p.m. in the Pyramid Room at the Recreation Office.

For more information call (775) 353-2376.
