The Washoe County Health District has started offering Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program participants coupons to use at select farmers markets.
The WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program was established to provide fresh, unprepared, locally grown fruit and vegetables to WIC participants.
Washoe County Health District WIC participants are encouraged to contact their local office to receive their coupons.
