The Sparks Fire Department is investigating the cause of a fire Wednesday morning that burned down a clubhouse at the De'Andrea Golf Club.
Officials responded to a call saying there was smoke coming from the clubhouse. Officials say the witness also reported seeing two vehicles leaving the scene.
Sparks crews are still on scene. Officials say they will be there for several more hours.
All available Sparks firefighters responded to the incident. The Reno Fire Department and Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District are covering stations while Sparks crews deal with the fire.
The clubhouse has collapsed and officials say it's a total loss. The building was abandoned and the golf course has been closed since 2012.
There are no reported injuries.
