The BLM says a fire southeast of Winnemucca in Pershing County is now 97% contained. The 11,590-acre Grass Valley Fire started on Monday along the east side of Grass Valley Road.
The BLM says the cause of the fire was a car parked alongside the roadway.
Two unoccupied structures have been lost, and other structures are threatened.
The BLM says this is not a part of the MM 155 Fire.
The BLM says fire restrictions are in place for the Winnemucca area.
