Stricter Regulations for North Tahoe Water Users

This early spring warmth has a lot of people heading outside to get some of their yard work done. And that's giving a boost to some of our local businesses.

Spring came early for Creative Gardens. The Sparks business is seeing more customers hoping to plant their veggies and get their property landscaped.

"They'll bring in pictures of plants or cuttings and they'll usually want to replace that plant if it didn't make it through the winter because we had a very, very dry winter,” says CJ Sanders, President, Creative Gardens.

Sanders says we will likely see another cold snap, so it's best to plant cold weather veggies that will survive a freeze. Other plants, like tomatoes should be covered up if temperatures drop.
